Crazy to think that I'm soon marking 6 months on sabbatical from ministry!
Things are beginning to rev back up with several projects in the pipeline:
As of today, my weekly Caffeinated Journey newspaper column has returned to the Tuscola County Advertiser. Today I wrote about the first Redneck Christmas.
Our first Info Meeting for Life Church is Sun, Jan 8th, 5:30pm at The Lighthouse in Caro. Looking forward to connecting with everyone, casting vision for our new church start-up, and answering questions during the Q&A time. Amber and I are absolutely amazed - amazed - at the people who have already jumped at this opportunity and have come fully on board this church planting adventure with us. There's still time for you to register online for the Info Meeting.
I was invited by the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention to speak January 12-15 at their winter retreat.
Phoenix in January? Yes, I can do that.
Also working on a new web strategy + billboard campaign for The Lighthouse locations in Caro and Traverse City. Plus we're developing a huge new project that's tightly under wraps. I'm really enjoying meeting regional media rep's and building relationships with area difference-makers.
In the midst of these projects, I am enjoying the rest of the Lord. One of these days I'll blog about all of the amazingly-crazy things God is doing for Life Church at this moment, but for now, He's telling me to hang tight. I'm trusting Him with all the heavy-lifting and living in Deuteronomy 1:36 right now.
