- The boys on the Parking Crew were aces.
- After weeks and weeks of planning, our staff team executed brilliantly. All I had to do was show up and preach it!
- Lots of buzz as the crowds experienced the newly amplified Cafe, Colwood Kids, and Main Auditorium.
- I had a lot of fun with the message. Talked about my experiences with Chris Farley, John 10, and recreated with Dan Thorp our frantic run through the Atlanta airport terminals last Thursday night (if you follow my Twitter, you understand). The podcast will go up later this week.

- Our brand new Stick Kits were a success. Great follow-up tool.
- We helped area families make some fun memories with the outdoor festivities. Loved seeing kids on ponies, folks munching on free hot dogs, kids' bouncers and carnival games, and of course the live outdoor music!
- Amplify is already creating strong, positive community word-of-mouth.
- Can't wait to hear the stories of life-change at our upcoming Baptismapalooza on Oct 3rd.
- It is a Small World after all: a family invited their young adult daughter visiting from Ann Arbor to Amplify. She brought along her out-of-town friend. Halfway through the message, this friend realized that we went to high school in Iowa together! We even went to Homecoming in a group together! Awesome catching up with Shannon - - how do you sum up 15+ years of life into 5 minutes?!
- Amplify continues next Sunday at 9:30 and 11am with guest speaker David Wenzel, a 20-something Grand Rapids communications guru who may or may not have 10 years to live.
