Last week my mentor asked me what our criteria was that led us to Michigan.
My reply?
Amber & I rewinded to life ten years ago.
Before life got in the way, we were freshly entering seminary.
What was it like to enter the doors of Chapel Hill Church for the very first time? What was it that drew us in, fueled our spirits, and amplified our dreams of what could be and what should be?
The answer is what led us here.

Has it been ten years?
Ohio, you have taught our family so much this past decade.
How to cheer the Cavaliers (2010 is our year!).
How to own our own home.
How to parent a little boy.
How to do ministry.
How not to do ministry.
How to forgive.
How to trust.
How to hope.
Michigan beckons.
We are excited for our future.
God has been exceedingly faithful.
Farewell Ohio. Its been a memorable ride.
I came home today from church, and found your website. I am delighted with the information that you share. We are glad that you are in Colwood, and your messages are truly inspirational. We thank GOD for choosing you. If you keep up your sermons as these past 3 weeks, you will have them standing in line to get in to hear your message. And like I told you this morning you have a lot of sermons left if you teach 3 weeks on each verse. God Bless you and welcome to Colwood..
