The Dow Event Center is going to be an amazing venue for our new church. World-class facilities and just minutes from all the major population centers in our region...
Our volunteers are the best. We don't want anyone serving at Life to miss out on the party, so we're actually doing two identical services on Sep 16th: one for all our volunteers at 9:15am and one for the public at 11am.
And yes, there's lots of buzz about our Life Kids Mascot. This will be the best hour in your kids' week! Can't wait to share details here soon.
Seeing the generosity being showered on Life has been unbelievable:
A couple from our previous church plant in north-east Ohio contacted us; they are coming up the weekend of Sep 16th to help serve at Life! Wow, love their servant hearts!
Another couple from Minnesota heard about our start-up. They have a tremendous heart for church plants. Long story short, the guy interviewed in Flint two weeks ago, got the job, and they're moving here the week before Life's first service... to serve! Truly, Saved People Serve People!
A fantastic church in Ohio heard about our church start-up and wanted to show their support. They weren't really in a position to give financially right now, so they looked around at what they had on-hand and donated a video-projector to Life Church! Talk about being Kingdom-minded! Pictured left is myself receiving their donation from worship pastor Josh Allen.
I'll be preaching at all three services next weekend at Heritage Church in nearby Sterling Heights. Some of our Lifers are trekking out to hear me speak (I'll be teaching on blended families from remarriage and adoption) and hear some of the band that will be leading worship at Life Church this Fall.
