Unleash

Last year I had the opportunity to attend 2 different conferences in preparation for planting Catalyst - one was excellent and is a "must" for all potential planters: the Acts 29 Bootcamp.

The other conference, unfortunately, I cannot recommend.  It was exponentially over-blown.  Instead, I would point you toward Unleash, whose website is being unleashed today (yes, I came up with that pun, thank you very much). 

When it comes to best practice, NewSpring is tops.  They started with just 15 people in 2000 with no money and no major metropolitan area...  7 years later they are one of the 100 fastest growing churches in North America.  Having also served on the Executive Team, I can tell you that these guys are very, very sharp.  The roundtable discussions alone would be worth the price of admission.
