~ Last Day! ~
Today was our last full day of vacation. I think it's pretty safe to say that we are all wiped out! We left Disney after the parade and all took a nap. We've been dealing with a few minor health issues the last couple of days, but have toughed it out.
We went to Disney's Hollywood Studios (or as us old-timer's call it "MGM"). This is the park to go to if you have a kid under the age of five and only one day. They have all the Playhouse Disney characters and many of the Pixar characters too. I have to say that the Toy Story ride did not disappoint! We headed there first - thanks to my genius husband! We hardly had to wait in line. The ride is 3-D and you shoot at different targets. For example, you hit a water ballon and you feel the spray of water on your face. Jon and I really liked it. Josiah cried because he had to give his 3-D glasses back at the end.
Of course, one of our first priorities for the day was to see Lightning McQueen and Mater!
We then headed over to see the Playhouse Disney Live On Stage! This was a fun interactive show! Josiah loved seeing all his favorite characters.
We went through the Animation of Disney attraction that shows how an animation comes to life. We finally tracked down that famous mouse at the end of this attraction.
We also saw the characters from the first movie we took Josiah to - Bolt!
We also tracked down Leo and Annie from Little Einsteins...
As you can see, when you bring a preschooler to Disney, you spend a lot of time in line to see your favorite characters. LOL. We did actually go on some rides while here too!
We let Josiah play in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground! He loved it. It was a little crazy as a parent though. He was able to find little tunnels we couldn't fit in and had no idea where they come out! I am sure that just added to the fun for him though.
We stuck around until the 3 pm Block Party Parade. This parade was so much fun! We got a great spot ahead of time. Literally as the parade began, Josiah fell asleep!!! I tried everything to get him to wake up, but he would not! He squinted his eyes open a couple of times and that was about it. He would've loved the interactive dance part too. :-(
And now, it's time to pack up and go home. I think the hardest part will be facing the 20 degree temperatures again! I am looking forward to getting back into the regular swing of things. I am also going to start Josiah's at home preschool again and get more serious about his potty training now we have no distractions. Ohio - here we come.
josiah was really wiped out! it's funny as i was reading that you stayed till 3:00 i thought "wow, i can't believe josiah lasted that long"...then he was sleeping in the next pic! LOL and- yes-it's very cold here. ;-)

Josiah definitely looks more tired in these pictures than he did earlier in the week! Maybe he'll take 4 hour naps when you get home! :)
